Following is a summary of the few suggestions I received to pass along to the CCA:

1) Don't allow Shell to participate in the banquets or STAR. It gives the appearance of approval to their open loop position.

2) Do a CCA mailer to members of all chapters asking for a boycott of Shell products.

3) Communicate more and better to members so we can understand what is happening and what CCA's position is on issues.

4) Be vocal and visible on issues so members feel like the organization is standing up for its members wishes.

5) A few people mentioned they had limited time and resources but were willing to help if there were things they could do. Maybe a list of different things could be made on different issues for folks to look over and get involved.

That summarizes what I received and they have been passed on. I will update as more suggestions or information becomes available.

I'm only one voice, but I do have a three auto account with Shell, so I will use only EXXON now, till something is done.

I believe Gilbo is correct in not purchasing Shell products. Fact is I canceled my Shell cards all together. As for CCA. I'm sitting out this year and not renewing my membership or entering "Star". As for MS Governor she's one term. Won't get a re-election vote from me.
