I'm a believer in using noise to attract specs. I read about this jigs recently and I was wondering if anyone has used them. The head of the jig looks kind of big for the soft plastic lure. I wonder if it would split the soft plastic and make it difficult to stay on the jig.

I fish because the voices in my head tell me to.

I have not seen them, and I am a firm believer that noise and motion attract more than color. where did you see them??

when i die bury me deep, put a bucket of bait at my feet, put a rod and reel in my hand and i will fish my way to the promised land !!!! remember we did not inherit these resources from our parents, we are merely borrowing them from our children

They were featured on one of the local fishing shows last week.
Here is the link to their webpage.

I have used them on my last two trips. Very well constructed, and good hook sets. I will be buying more.

Thanks Broc. I went to Professional's yesterday and picked up a pack. Kinda pricey, $4.60 for 3 jig heads but if they catch fish they are worth it.

I'm LOL at the pricy comment. My brother had a stingray on his line and didn't want to cut it. His comment was, I'm getting my rockport jig head back and he did....

Their site does not list Academy as a local dealer for the Jighead.

Ed, The web sight is not showing anything in MS. The only thing close to Biloxi would be Gus's Tackle in Slidell.
