I decided to fish the Biloxi Marsh this morning after reading eastofmrgo report on Tuesday. I spoke with Mr.Buddy and he gave me some insight on where to try. My coworker and I launched out of Breton sound and had a line in the water in crooked bayou at 6:50. First cast and he has a hook up Big sail cat. We fished many cuts and points throwing back gaftops and finally the first Speck hit the box around 8:00. We boxed 1 or 2 keepers just about every spot we worked with many throw backs in between. We fished hard and finished up with 13 Specks and 1 white trout, and headed in around 1ish. Tide was falling all morning. Water clarity was a 7, bait popping all over marsh. Wind was blowing hard all morning 15-20 mph making it hard to control trolling motor. All fish caught on purple and green sparkle beetle 3ft under cork and Coworker was using green Doa Shrimp 3ft under cork.
