WINDY & COOL FALL LIKE MORNING HERE IN MYRTLE GROVE!
Had the pleasure to guide Dan and Mike from Illinois. The guys lodged at Woodland Plantation having a great meal and a good rest and breakfast before getting on board this morning.
We left out early with the wind stiff out the north northwest. No problem as we have plenty protected waters and marsh in this area to fish .
We made one stop and only one stop in a place I fished when I was just a little fellow in a flat boat. LOL! We drifted and cast a leeward shoreline. The bait fish and shrimp were thick on the surface with hungry Red Fish cruising the shore.
I turned the guys lose with live shrimp under the Four Horsemen cork. It was steady action as the Reds were exploding on the shrimp as they tried to escape. What a sight!
GREAT JOB AND BIG THANKS TO DAN, MIKE & WOODLAND PLANTATION!
Be back out the next couple days with the forecast looking great.
