Team Jo-Jo……………………………. Fishing current lines (see pictures) this be me favorite way to set up for fishing Silverwodners. Boat positon is everting, then comes presentation. All you have to do is throw out, let lure go to bottom, and let the current do all the work. This the most natural approach / presentation to fishing with lures.

Fish both drop offs up and down the drop offs, while the lure is rolling along with the tide / current, all you want to do is give it a very little twitch, (keep tight line) and very now and then a twitch or two in session.

Try to think how a minnow would look drifting with the current, and what they would do if they saw a Silverwonder. They would be moving with the current darting back and forth, and if they saw something they would DART a little harder. Try to duplicate that process during your retrieve and presentation to the Silverwonders.

On the flats are where the flounders live at, me lure of choice for flounders is the 3” H&H purple beetle, they cannot resists it.

Me probably confused you more than ever, but just thought me would take a shot explain what me mean when we say current line and how we fish current lines.

    Good Fishing
