I went back to first mate duty today as I launched with my neighbor Ray in Reggio.  We toiled up in Lake Amedee all cloudy/misty morning.  Tide was ripping again, maybe a little too much.  A handful of trout bites was all we could muster, even live shrimp was no match for the elusive silver-wonder stinginess.  Learned a new route to Amedee from Delacroix as I’m still working on a internal auto-pilot.  A few small reds closed the show, it was tough pickings most of the day.  Probably be back in Delacroix in the am, my redfish hole is calling with these SE winds.

    What hit the boat:

    2 keeper specks

    2 throw back reds

    1 throw back bass
