With the looming blow out this weekend, I figured today would be the last good day for a bit to get out there and maybe have something happen.  Not so much.  Greeted by approx. 15-20mph steady winds.  The highlight of the trip was a group of otters cutting up as I was pulling out of slip.  Tried 4 Horse for trout, best looking water I’ve seen there in a while, but nada.  Made the move to my favorite consistent red hole, and a double nada, dang near had whitecaps in a 1.5-2 foot pond.  Made a few moves and then resigned to take my skunking.  Best bite all day was hooking the anchor.  I’ll be back out there soon, … somewhere.

    What hit the boat:

    pee and wind
