Yesterday, me/Lucy made a mid-morning trip.  Trying to keep her from freezing until her insulated suit comes in the mail.  Tried to hit the timing sweet spot, but was a bit off, about a hour too late, 10:30 ish.  I got 4 nice reds in the boat within 10 minutes, things was looking good.  Wind/current picked up a few notches and shut ‘er down.  I finessed one more, and then it was over, missed the major part of the bite by that much.  Once I get that suit on Lucy, I’ll be able to get her out there that hour earlier, and hopefully get that girl on some fish.  My chartering skills would put me out of business real quick.

    What hit the boat:

    5 Red keepers (2 throwbacks)

    1  chunky Sailcat (release)
