I propose the CCA provide a Poll for CCA Members only on the CCA website to vote for or against the proposed ban. In order vote members would be required to enter their ID # and the poll would not be open to CCA Members that have joined the CCA within the past thirty days.
This would give the CCA a clear idea of where it's members stand on this important proposed piece of Legislature.

Because the CCA should be backing issues supported by people who were active members at the time they decided to support the ban.

A very good debate has been going on under the fishing tackle/gear category of the forum. Check it out. Lots of mis-information is going around.
Are you implying that CCA may have GAINED members from the ban attempt?

there has been a spirited debate by what 3 or 4 folks?? over on another site which chris is invovled in there is one topic that has over 60 comments made by less than a dozen folks and on that site when one or two folks said that they wanted the ban they were jumped on and called names etc. maybe we should ban the ownership of bows period!!

remember we did not inherit these resources from our parents, we are merely borrowing them from our children

I did not post this topic to spark/continue debate but rather in the hope that someone from CCA would follow through and post a poll on the CCA website.
I have contacted CCA directly via email to which they have not responded. It is my understanding that this section of the Forum was created for CCA to monitor and provide and place for discussion (civil) between CCA and Forum members.

What about members that quit CCA be cuzz of the ban like me! last year was the frist time I joined CCA it was cuzz of the STAR but not no moor....

Ed, I like Capt. Ron would like to join the discussion you speak of ...where people are calling others names for voicing their thoughts.
I have noticed a lack of thoughtfull discussion by you (on this topic) and after enjoying your many post for so long I'm at a loss for why.

CCA - their silence is deafening.
