Louisiana has some of the best fishing in the world! Come get you some!
Special thanks to all who support what I do to promote our Sportsman’s Paradise, Our awesome Charter Guides, our recreational anglers, last but not least to encourage more ladies to join us on the water and to preserve our fishing industry for future generations. Our kids of course is our link to saving our fishing industry, take a kid fishing and give them a life time memory that they will pass on over and over!
We had an awesome day!
Thanks to a great lady angler Britani Allemand for hooking us up with Captain Gary Voiron Derek Billiot and crew who made an offshore trip off the hook memory. I was very disappointed she was unable to make the trip with us
We were fishing the Grand Isle Rodeo, did not place but had an awesome time.
I have fished four offshore trips this past week and one inshore trip. It was an amazing week fishing with some awesome anglers, Charter Guides, divers and one of the best in the business for blue water fishing,. Peace Marvel, so many stepped up to help out and to encourage me to continue on my journey to follow my passion and to help and encourage other women to do the same. Don’t ever give up! It is never to late in life to follow your passion.
Captain Scott Vicknair also who was impeccable at maneuvering the boat through such choppy water to get us on spot to catch the black fin tuna as well as the other species showing in the pics!
Derek Billiot, was a favorite today utilizing his professional diving skills to spear a huge amber jack and a nice mangrove!
Everyone of the guys on this boat presented an awesome professional crew who ran this trip like it was just as important to them as it was for our lady anglers fishing for a cure!
I also fished with the very famous https://www.facebook.com/peace.marvel
but it wasn’t my day to get a sword so I got a raincheck.
I wondered how you would get the line back up from 1500 feet to check bait, a dewalt drill with a special socket, that’s how! LOL We had a great time with outdoor writer Gerry BethgeExecutive Editor at Outdoor Life
From offshore to inshore it was a great weekend of fishing.
Thanks to Captain Grant for putting us on some nice fish, We arrived at the marina around 7 and were immediately put on a boat to head out in search of redfish and speckled trout hoping to put a fish on the board.
We put a few in the box and I watched as my newbie friend Sheryl Tassin Folse became overly excited about a nice redfish she was trying to land.
It made my day to know that I had a small part in getting her out to fish! LOL
Redfish Fishing – Louisiana Fishing
Trout – Redfish Fishing Grand Isle Louisiana
Light tackle fishing in Grand Isle, Louisiana Speckled Trout, Redfish, Drum, Sheepshead, Flounder and others. We fish along the Beaches, in the marsh, over sunken wrecks, Rock piles, where ever the fish are we will find them.
When it’s calm in front of the island, you can catch Trout, Redfish, Crabs and Shrimp during the summer. “When winter comes, you have all the canals off the bays and then there’s the deep-sea fishing that goes on all year. Think about the numbers of species of fish you can catch here, and how many fish are caught here, and other people around the United States don’t believe that kind of fishing exists in their country.
The normal trip leaves the dock at safe light (7:00a.m.) from Bridgeside Marina and returns around (2:00p.m.). The destination depends on the current activity of the targeted species. You could be fishing the beaches of Grand Isle and Elmer’s Island for the summer time specks or hitting the inland reefs, canals, ponds and cuts for Specks or Red Fish.
