Weekly trip to the Biloxi marsh worked as planned. Quick launch at Fort pike and nice ride across .Started fishing at about 9 and quit at 1, tried all the spots that have produced specks the past 4-5 trips, cuts in Byu Biloxi, pipeline cuts and lagoons , Macks Pass , Muscle bay and Crooked byu. Tide was pretty low so care had to be taken getting from point A to Point B. Only saw 2 other boats all day. Made it back across a smooth Lake Borgne to try a few spots off the ICW and managed some throw back reds and green trout.
Tide dead to incoming all day, water temp 47-49, wind light to dead. Water clarity great in the marsh .
Tried lemonhead, Holy Joely Matrix, H&H cocaho tail ,chartreuse, tight lined and under a cork, NOTHING worked in Biloxi Marsh ,tight lined H&H on ¼ oz head did the work off the ICW.
Finished the day about 4pm with
0 anything in The Biloxi Marsh
9 -15” reds and 3- 14” green trout off the ICW.
All returned to be caught another day

    Glad i listened

    1. My neighbor just got a new boat. We are looking to get back on the water. I noticed you and a few others are launching at Fort Pike. Can you launch a 22 ft. Nautic Star safely there?

    2. I have a 22′ nauticstar and I have never had a problem at the Fort pike launch even on dead low tides.Sometimes it takes awhile for the State to repair the dock after a storm, but it is in good shape now. The problems will start if it gets crowded, not much parking and dock space. Great for now.
