On a scale from 1-10 we would put the fishing today at a 7, not off the charts, but definitely way good enough to to make the trip to Sweetwater Marina on Delacroix Island worthwhile. We saw a lot more Reds on the cleaning tables than we have recently, but there were still plenty of Specs in the mix. Little Lake really seems to be turning on right now and tomorrow the tide range should be up – which means the fishing will only be getting better. On his charter today Capt. Jack’s group had a haul of 80 Trout and 6 Sheephead. And we have some great news for folks who want to lodge with us – now in addition to our 1 bedrooms with a kitchenette – we have a 2 bedroom with a full kitchen available for 220 a night. We have been booked solid on the weekends for a while, but now that we have the extra room available you should give us a shout.
