Today was some of the best speckled trout fishing seen, in a while! Lots and lots of beautiful speckled trout came in today! Some trout that came in from Black Bay were 3-4 Ib’s. Trout were coming in from the inside, the outside, all over! As far as redfish, where do we begin? Everyone that targeted them, caught them! As far as Black Bay being a Black Bay…it’s not! It’s brown bay..but the trout were still biting! Customers said they had to pop, but they were still there! If you are ready to get in on some of this action, come on down to Sweetwater. We will help you get on some great redfish and speckled trout action! Here in Delacroix..we are one of the top fishing destinations in our state! All joked aside..home of the tournament winning Reds! If you want to win redfish tournaments, fish Delacroix…no joke! The weather is going to get screwy the next few days. However, by the weekend, the weather will go back to being beautiful! So, come on and get you some! Also, don’t forget to try out our new food trailer..now open and serving some mouth-watering burgers, pulled pork sandwiches and shrimp poboys with fries and a drink…and in the morning we have some delicious homemade breakfast biscuits! So, come see Chef Richy this Friday, Saturday and Sunday and let him whip you up some tasty food! Remember to choose Sweetwater…we offer it all!
