A pretty windy day down at Sweetwater Marina! Today, Capt. Jack took out Brent Faison and friends…they came back with 21 reds; they had 10-15 throwbacks, and a couple of oversized reds…30+inches…were thrown back. All their reds today were caught on live shrimp! Winds are strong, but it seems like the fish are still biting! A few customers came in with a good amount of speckled trout..we couldn’t get where they went out of them…however, we think it was around Fourhorse area! Not sure what the weather is going to do this weekend….but, any day spent fishing is better than a day at work! So, if you get the opportunity and you want to come enjoy it, come on down to Sweetwater! We can’t wait to see you! And remember….we do have lodging, charters, non-ethanol fuel, fish cleaning services, a golf court to drive you to and from your vehicle, live shrimp, tackle, tips on where the fish are biting, anything else you might need to make your day on the water a little greater…. and we now have a food trailer! If you haven’t tried it, you’re missing out on deliciousness! Even if you can’t make it out on the water, come grab some lunch and hang out with us around the marina! The trailer is open every Friday, Saturday and Sunday…from 6am to 5pm…we have breakfast biscuits, in the morning..and, in the evening, we offer delicious pulled pork sandwiches, juicy burgers and mouthwatering shrimp poboys! Don’t pass up on a lunch that will have your taste buds doing the dance of pure happiness! Trust me…you won’t regret eating at our food trailer….just like our customers never regret making Sweetwater Marina their go-to marina! We love and appreciate our customers..we try to make sure each and every one of our customers leaves with a smile, happy with the service and wanting, wishing and praying to come back for some more of all that is Sweetwater Marina!
