Launched a few boats today! All kinds of different stories! Some of the regulars did good! Some newbys caught some fish today! And some caught nothing…so, there was some mixed reports! From good to only alright…but we have people tell us they caught nothing, when the fishing is really fabulous! So, who knows?…You won’t…until you come try! Weather should be good for tomorrow for fishing! So, if you get the chance, come join us down here at Sweetwater Marina…let us point you to all the hotspots and do anything necessary to make sure your visit to Delacroix is memorable, spectacular even! You won’t regret launching at Sweetwater!

Don’t forget…when you visit us, post pictures of you and your fish & write a little feedback about your trip on Sweetwater’s Facebook! We try so hard to make sure our customers leave happy….so, please…we love to hear from our customers!

We offer A-1 service…golf court rides to and from your vehicle, we launch your boat for you, park your vehicle, clean and package your fish, we offer non-ethanol fuel, lodging, charters, tackle, maps, gps chips, live bait, dead bait, ice, snacks, food (on Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 10am until 5pm)(shrimp poboys, pulled pork sandwiches, hamburgers and gumbo), we also give tips on hotspots and point you in the right direction!

If you have any question on lodging or charters, please call 504-342-2368!

Lodging- we have the most convenient and comfy location! Right across from the Marina! You can leave your boat in the water overnight! Free launches! And the rooms are only $160.50 per night! They sleep up to 6! They have a kitchenette (including a griddle, a toaster oven, a microwave, fridge, freezer, and charcoal grills outside of each room)! Charters- Our captains are the best around! Capt. Jack has been in the business for 31 years…licensed since 1996! He is great with the kids! The charters are $750 and that’s for up to 4 anglers! Our captain will take you out, put you on the fish, help you cast, hook your bait for you and anything else you may need! You’ll be sure to have a fantastic time and catch plenty of fish! Everything is included! All you need is to make sure you have a Louisiana fishing license, if not call and get a 3 day charter license, an ice chest to bring home your cleaned and packaged fish in and food and drinks for yourselves! So, book a trip today! 504-342-2368

With both lodging and charters we do need a 30% deposit to make your reservation! Also, you have a two week cancellation policy! You have up until two weeks prior to your reservation to cancel…if you cancel within the two weeks, you will loose your deposit! This is a precaution for us..we can’t afford to have customers back out of their reservations last minute…because then we can’t rebook the room or charter, if you cancel only a day or so before..so, we started this semi-new policy…it seems to be going pretty well and it’s fair to both customers and Sweetwater! With a two week notice..we may be able to rebook the room or charter! Thanks to everyone that stays and fishes with us! We really do appreciate all of our customers…and we hope y’all enjoy visiting us here at Sweetwater! ☺️
