Since our last report, we have launched around ten boats a day..in all fairness, people have been catching a decent amount of fish! The charter captains have been catching good amounts of reds! One charter captain that went on a trip today caught a limit of trout! Trout Hotspots: Stone Island, Iron Banks, Compressor Rig, The Wreck, Mozanne Beak Point, the Rig in Lake Campo, Snake Island rig and Lake Fortuna! Redfish Hotspot: Grand Lake (couple of customers limited out in there this week)! Good news is we have plenty of beautiful, beautiful live shrimp! We have some rooms available! Our lodges are in the most convenient location in Delacroix…right across from our marina and the launch! If you stay with us, your launch will be free! Our lodges sleep up to 6..we do have some that sleep up to 8 now! Please call 504-342-2368 to book today! Also, we do have charters available! Capt. Jack and all of our captains are the best! They will take care of everything! Don’t have a clue about fishing? Don’t worry! They will have the boat ready to go in the morning, they will supply bait, tackle, fishing poles, they will bait your hook, cast your pole (if necessary), provide everything…the only thing you have to bring is your lunch and drinks, provide a fishing license for yourselves and an ice chest to bring home your cleaned/packaged fish home in! It is all worth it! Everything from the lodging to the charter to the fishing is great! So, visit us here at Sweetwater and see all that we have to offer! We have a food trailer that is open every Friday, Saturday and Sunday (except tomorrow due to the boat blessing)! Come join us here at Sweetwater, the marina that loves, appreciates and takes care of their customers! We can’t wait to see you here at Sweetwater Marina!
Don’t forget that our guys do offer the best fish cleaning service around! They will have your fish cleaned super speedy, yet with great quality! So, see Tony or Mr. Ronnie after a long day of fishing…relax, while the guys take care of cleaning your catch! I know they appreciate the customers that let them clean their fish, as do we!
