A pretty rough day down at Sweetwater, as far as fishing. Captain Jack had a charter today. They were back at the dock at 1pm, without one speckled trout in the boat. They had 5 keeper reds and 30-40 throwback reds. They grabbed some lunch, grabbed some more live shrimp and headed back out. The fishing seemed to get a lot better. They ended up catching 28 trout. This morning the water clarity was horrible, and the wind was rough…reasons the fishing was so rough. Captain Jack is taking the same group back out tomorrow. They are going to try to get on the early morning trout bite….then, they are going to try and catch some bull reds. Tomorrow’s fishing conditions should be a million times better than today. The wind shouldn’t be as bad as today, at least in the early morning. Also, the water cleared up a bit. We will have plenty of live shrimp. So..come down and get in on what should be some great fishing. Can’t wait to see ya here at Sweetwater Marina, the Marina that loves their customers.
