Pretty busy day down at the Marina. The fishing was pretty decent out of Sweetwater today. They caught lots of reds and good amounts of speckled trout. A couple of limits came in today. Trout were caught around Fourhorse Lake and in the deep
Bayous going into Poto Cabalo. Another good spot was around the Lake John area. Carolina rig on the bottom with live shrimp is the key. Good news is we will have plenty of beautiful live shrimp again for tomorrow. On Captain Jack’s charter today, they ended up with 61 trout, a couple of big reds they threw back and one big bull drum. Hopefully, if you get a chance, come on down…get in on the fishing we have going on in Delacroix..one of the best spots left in Louisiana to fish. Can’t wait to see ya here at Sweetwater Marina!
Pictures included are from today’s charter.
