Capt Jack’s charter with Mr. Pat Beck and friends was a bit challenging at first, with the strong winds this morning, meaning trout fishing wasn’t going to happen today. So they went on the Redfish hunt and that turned out to be a great success. They limited out and even threw back over 20 Redfish. In the end they brought in 22 Redfish, from around Shell Lake. They also caught 8 bass, 3 fresh water catfish, and a sheep head.
Tomorrow Capt. Jack will be fishing with Capt. CT Williams, which will air Wednesday night on the “Fish and Game Report”.
Capt. Jody Stephens, Hank Mann and the Lake Oconee crew from Georgia did have success with the trout today. They had over 40 from the Lake Amadee area by the twin pipeline. We will be looking forward to seeing the guys again next year. They enjoyed lodging and launching from Sweetwater Marina for the last week.
We were also happy to host Steven and Hai on their 8th annual fishing trip at Sweetwater Marina. They said it gets bigger and better every year they come. All the guys had a great time and couldn’t wait to share some of their pictures with us.
We had another angler who limited out on Bull reds in Lake Callibas, he and his wife and son said the wind was a little strong but they enjoyed they family day out.
