We have had some fun the last couple of days. The red fish have been out go to fish lately. Being able to chase those suckers through the marsh, is just too much fun. We have run a couple of near shore trips, and it has mostly been puppy drum, and sheepshead. Gotta be honest, on those colder days, it has really been nice to fish in close.
This time of year, we just have to watch our weather and pick our days. On some of the colder days, when we want to chase the redfish, we just leave a little later. Having the warmer temps, and the sun a little higher certainly makes spotting them a whole lot easier. When the conditions are right, the amount of red fish we have been seeing is impressive.
When the water has been high and or dirty, we have been using the live bait under the Boat Monkey Popping corks. But on the days with sunshine, and clean/low water, it has been game freakin on! We have been throwing topwaters, spinner baits, or just a bare hook with a live bait.
We have boats available all year. We normally let the weather this time of year tell us where to go. Give us a shout if we can help get yall out on the water. If yall wanna take the kiddos out for Christmas Break, we would be more than happy to help. Thanks
