Big Andrew joined Oneofthepack on a road trip to our Disney World known as Delacroix Island.

Our mission possible, (A mission which we accepted) was to pick up the Bay Flat Sr and bring her and the Yamaha Dream Machine into the boat doctor, (Cypress Cove) for her 300 hour service maintenance protocol.

Word is we should have the Bay Flat Sr back down in Delcroix by Friday, now that is service with a smile, cause we be smiling all the way back to our fishing area.

On the way down we saw (3) boats on the trailer coming back, (9:45 AM) from Delacroix, not a good sign.

Saw one boat, (neighbor in boat slip) returning from fishing (10:10 AM) not a good sign.

Talk to fisherperson at Lionel, they just launched and was heading out to Skippy Bay, me caution them on the low tide, they sound like experience fisherperson of Delacroix and said they had limited out (12/30 & 12/31) in Skippy Bay and they were looking for a repeat type trip, wished them luck.

Now our challenge, with a hard cross wind and a falling tide, getting the Bay Flat Sr on the trailer. It took me 3 tries as the wind was blowing me all over. Coupled with Oneofthepack’ s boatmanship and Big Andrew trailer backing down trailermanship, we managed to get the Bay Flat Sr on trailer, and we were on our way to Cypress Cove boat / motor hospital specialist.

Took a few pictures for RNR viewing pleasure, any of you fisherperson know what type bird ate me duck???????????

    Good Fishing

    1. Red Tail Hawk, I watched one pluck a squirill out my back yard in Slidell. Lot bigger than they look flying.

    2. The bird is a Cooper’s hawk. Very fast and powerful bird eating hawk. Similar to a falcon but bigger.

    3. Cooper’s hawk.
