Just thought I’d add to the old boat and outboard stories.  My Dad had a Yellow Jacket 16 ft all wood hull.  Good looking with a crow in top hat painted on both sides of the hull.  It was powered by a West Bend outboard manufactured by the appliance company.  Sears had them in their stores.  The motor division of West Bend was sold to Chrysler in 65.  When I got out of the Navy in 71 I used the motor for a few years.  For a 20hp it ran pretty fast. Well they’re all gone now but they left a life time of memories.  Passing water sports own to the Grand Kids now.  Good luck this season fellas.
