    Fishing Magician Charters

We find them and you catch them!

Today I had the pleasure of fishing with my cousin Berry Nunez, his two nephews Chris and Bryan, and his good friend Sam. It was great to see Berry today I haven’t seen him in a few years. We both grew up fishing and trapping with your Dads and Grand paws.

Today we fished the Biloxi Marsh catching 14 reds, and 20 speckled trout and 2 black drum.

All fish was caught 2′ under a popping cork using live shrimp from B.S.M. Campo‘s has fuel but just don’t have their bait boxes ready yet. But, it shouldn’t be too long till Campo’s is back to normal. They are working very hard to get everything up and running like before.

Sweetwater Marina – Capt. Jack Payne

The fishing was pretty decent today at Sweetwater Marina on Delacroix Island with everyone seeming to catch some fish. And just like the last couple of days story was Reds, lots of Reds out there. A handful of boats also had some Trout. One group had 28 Trout and said they had to throw back at least 200 to get their keepers. Another group had 8 Reds, 11 Bass, 3 Specs and 1 Flounder - not a bad day at all. Everyone came back in smiling after a fun day of fishing - especially the family who came back with 3 Reds, the kids were thrilled with their catch. It was their 4th trip on their new boat and even though they only had 3 keepers they had a blast catching Croaker, Reds, small Specs, Eels - every cast was a new surprise. For tomorrow we have some shrimp, so if you can pick them up on the way down we recommend you do that. As always, we would love to see you. If you are interested in a charter or lodging please call 504-342-2368. A smalll deposit will hold your reservation. If you would like to make a great fishing trip call us. Capt. Jack can take you during the week and we have some great Captains who can take you on the weekend. So come on down to the second launch on Delacroix Island, Sweetwater Marina, and let Capt. Jack, Mr. Ronnie, Tony and Jessie get you started. They will put your boat in the water, put you on the fish, and when you return with an ice chest full of fish they'll clean 'em and bag 'em for you. And while you are here ask to check out our lodging. It's the best deal in Delacrolix - sleeps 6, free launch, kitchenette, cable, wifi. BBQ pit - all for just $159 a night. Just wake up and fish. Whatever you need to make your fishing trip a success, we probably have it in our baitshop, including maps and helpful tips from Mr. Ronnie and Tony. Anything we can do to help make your trip fun, successful and safe - just ask. We would love to see you at Sweetwater Marina, the marina that loves their customers. And remember we are the second launch. If you are interested in a charter or lodging please call 504-342-2368. A smalll deposit will hold your reservation. Hope to see you soon.
