    Fishing Magician Charters

We find them and you catch them!

Today I had the pleasure of fishing with my cousin Berry Nunez, his two nephews Chris and Bryan, and his good friend Sam. It was great to see Berry today I haven’t seen him in a few years. We both grew up fishing and trapping with your Dads and Grand paws.

Today we fished the Biloxi Marsh catching 14 reds, and 20 speckled trout and 2 black drum.

All fish was caught 2′ under a popping cork using live shrimp from B.S.M. Campo‘s has fuel but just don’t have their bait boxes ready yet. But, it shouldn’t be too long till Campo’s is back to normal. They are working very hard to get everything up and running like before.

    Delacroix Part 3

In this video, we killed the Reds, easily catching our limit. Hope y'all enjoy it, lemme know what y'all think. All fish caught in Grand Lake on Labor Day Weekend. Dead shrimp under a cork

    Smashing the Trout

Today started off with a super show of light from God. Then things got a little slow as the fish didn't bite at the first stop. Went to the next option and just like the day before we put 13 nice fat trout in the box, then white trout made catching anything else very difficult. So off we went back to #1 and it was on just like the day before. Big fat trout eating the Berkley rattle shrimp pretty steady. I tried swim baits and a few other baits just to see and it was the rattle shrimp under a cork or you weren't catching a lot. At one point Duke Gallagher asked how many fish we had and I told him we were at 44 and he said that was enough lets go scouting. Funny thing happened while picking up to move. Howard got on a roll and put the number to 52 before we were fired up and leaving. A small boat came by and I tossed them some plastic shrimp and said that the trout here were all theirs. I took off with one place in mind and it didn't pay off. Next place was a gamble but OH MY did it pay off. the trout were stacked and it didn't take any time to top off the box at out 75 and we left them biting super fast. Best part about the fish we are catching right now is that we are not fishing bird so the fish we are catching are real nice fish. I have days open so give me a call. Capt. Tommy Pellegrin

    Beautiful day to fish

Quick report, (grandkids want the computer) Me ,Nephew and a friend Launched at Pelican Point and started chunkin in a pass in the Bob’s lakes area before we could see the cork, just about the time we could see ,the bite started and lasted about 10- 15 fish and gone. Made a move to another pass in the same area and got on a steady bite with almost no throw backs. Moved deeper into the marsh to a duck pond looking for reds and started catching specks instead, not a bad problem. Made our way around the pond and back into the byu leading into it and back on a steady bite till noon when it died off. Made a stop for reds and managed 1 to big, 1 to small and 1 just right 17”. Quick bite to eat (two boiled eggs and a banana ) and a root beer and back across lake Borgne we went. All trout caught on lemon head matrix and chartreuse H&H cocaho tail, under a popping cork. Reds caught on gold spoon. Water temp 68 -71, air temp cool to hot, light incoming to light falling as the day passed. Clarity 8 on 1-10 scale. No feeding frenzy, just steady bite all morning. Finished the day at 1:30 with : 71 specks 12-18 3 white trout 12 max 1 keeper red and a couple of non keepers. 1 almost gar Pics when Brian sends them to me.

    Venice Guide Service 10-20-25/2016

Here's some pics from my last few trips. Most of them have been evening trips and with only a few hours in the evenings we've been getting it done. Today I am broiling that juicy little tripletail I caught Monday and my dive buddy shot a 188 Yellowfin Tuna behind the shrimp boats.
