Real busy day down at the Marina. There were great speckled trout reports. Good amounts of people came in with good numbers of speckled trout. All kinds of different reports from all over the place today. Good amounts of redfish were caught, as well. Good news is that we have plenty of live shrimp. So…if you are looking to get in on some action, get down here…the reds and trout seem to be giving it up pretty good right now. Hotspots right now: Fourhorse and east of there..around Campo. We should have bait the whole weekend. Tomorrow and Friday seem like they might be the best days, considering the weather forecast. Can’t wait for Mother Nature to straighten out, so the weekend fisherman can come enjoy themselves. Boat sheds are available right now..they include water and electricity and free boat launches..please call 504-342-2368, if interested or need more info.
For those of you scared about the weekend weather..but still want to make the trip…remember..the BEST two times to go fishing..is when is is raining…and when it isn’t…a day can’t be spent any better than on the water, fishing and just enjoying the view…no matter rain or shine..it’s a good day, if it’s on the water!
