Some really great fishing today out of Sweetwater. The trout were hitting the docks, in all kinds of different fashions. In 5 gallon buckets full, ice chest full, shrimp baskets full, you name it…they were pouring them on the dock and cleaning them today. There were some really beautiful speckled trout coming in. Captain Jack came in with 90 trout, 2 reds and 1 nice fresh water cat from his charter. So, what we are saying is..the fishing isn’t just good in Delacroix..it’s GREAT. Also, not in one place…they were coming with fish from all over. We have PLENTY beautiful live shrimp..no more shortages in the shrimp supply. So, PLEASE stop calling about live shrimp…don’t worry WE HAVE LIVE SHRIMP AND WE AREN’T RUNNING OUT!! We hope to see you tomorrow. Saturday may be good for a half day. As good as the fish are biting, you won’t need to be out for a long time to catch some fish. The IFA’s championship, the best redfish tournament & best ran tournament, dates have been set…so, you better call quick. Only have one one-bedroom left and a couple two bedrooms..already! See y’all soon!

The pictures are from Captain Jack’s charter!

Boat sheds are available right now..they include water and electricity and free boat launches..please call 504-342-2368, if interested or need more info.

Buddy of mine has been sending incredible reports of very fat specks and a few reds being caught in certain areas of Delacroix, all on variety of soft plastics and good buddy of mine was sending nice pics of specks from Indian River and he was astounded at the size and quantity of specks this gent was on this past Monday and Tuesday. We are headed to de Island at end of this month and into May for what I hope to be a speck slam and I have been biding my time on NShore pecking away at some beautiful sac au lait, some slightly over a lb!!
